How Near-Infrared Light Works
NearInfraRed light is part of the natural visible light spectrum. It’s therapeutic effects are helpful in stimulating the mitochondria of the cells, stimulating the production of your body’s own collagen, and has an anti-inflammatory effect on the tissues.
The light therapy devices that Dr. Hackett uses are clinical grade that go a 960nm depth or to the bone.
Nearinfrared light is a unique, painless therapy that refracts throughout the body due to its long wavelength and the fact that your body is mostly water, which has a crystal structure. Light therapies are being used in conjunction with sound therapies. Frequencies of certain Hz resonance have a healing effect on the body.
PEMF treatment, or Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy, is a non-invasive treatment that uses electromagnetic fields to promote healing and overall well-being. It works by stimulating the body’s natural healing processes through the application of electromagnetic pulses to targeted areas of living tissue. This therapy is believed to help with various health issues, including bone healing, pain management, and improving mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety. PEMF therapy is applied using devices that emit electromagnetic waves at specific frequencies, which penetrate the body’s tissues and interact with cellular functions to enhance healing and recovery.
Dr. Hackett adds these therapies to acupuncture treatments and offers then as stand-alone treatments to very sensitive patients and treatments for children.
