Sleep is the cornerstone of good, long-term health: body, mind, and spirit. The variabilities of life (aging, stress, change of health status) all can negatively impact how well we rest. Whether you track your sleep with a device or use more intuitive methods of the quality of your sleep, holistic medicine has a lot to offer to help you get your best sleep ever.

The diurnal rhythm is largely dependent upon how your body regulates two hormones: cortisol and melatonin. Perhaps your body makes too much or not enough of either. That can be tested. In the meantime, acupuncture helps your brain and body reset into a more relaxed state to improve your restful states, whether awake or asleep.

The herbs ore supplements we can use to help with better sleep regulation are selected based upon your unique health history, your goals, your concerns, and your lifestyle. There is DEFINITELY no one-size-fits-all when it comes to your circadian rhythm. As your hormones change, your brain health changes, or other factors of your health change, it can impact your sleep mightily. Dr. Hackett has over 20 years of expertise to help you get better rest.
