You can search the internet for any topic and only get “relevant” results. There is nothing in the search algorithm to sort by “reliable”. This site is curated to be a resource for the best in holistic medicine and lifestyle information.
Dr. Hackett has focused her entire education in traditional medicines and therapies, not a quaint add-on to a conventional medical degree. Her discernment is focused on YOUR best interests, not as a gimmick to sell you something. Compare the other information to that which you find here. If you do not see a topic or issue of interest to you, then let us know. We will research it and post what we find.
Tracy is smart, clear, concise, an excellent practitioner...one that bridges the gap between eastern and western medicine seamlessly. I highly recommend her!`` N. Lambert DDS
It is my express hope that you find information on this site that supports you in making informed decisions about your health and lifestyle choices. How we make our small choices can make a big difference in the long run. That is the essence of preventive medicine. The little things add up. I know this from my own experience. I let go of my discipline for a time because I felt I was not being authentic, that I was hiding from some deeper issue. Now that I have nearly come full circle in this self-imposed process, I feel a sense of freedom that was not there before. So in my journey toward better health and well-being, I will post articles that I think will support your own process to better living.
Resources will include articles that are written for the general public as well as for professionals, recipes, nutrition, supplements, herbs, homeopathy, skin care, new tech that supports health, yoga and fitness, developments in medicine, acupuncture, Chinese medicine and its modalities, bodywork, meditation, journeywork, personal development, and wellness travel.
Phew! That’s a lot! We have so much ground to cover to make the most out of this short life we have. Like my great grandmother used to say, “Life is like horse track. You get one go around this time, so make it good!”
